ALAMOSA, Colo. (September 6, 2014) – It was a dominate performance for the second-ranked Adams State women's cross country team  at the 21^st Annual Joe I. Vigil Open. The Grizzlies claimed four of the top five individual placings at their host event en route to taking the team championship with 16 points. The Grizzlies' depth was evident as ASU went on to claim nine of the top ten spots.

"It was a really good start for us." said ASU head coach Damon Martin. "We recorded some solid times and the results certainly showed that."
